I think a breathable cover is best as it lets the moisture out, rather than trap it, (which causes rust).

That's just a big shower cape.

What you need to do is; get a hair dryer (one of those air heating things used for drying paint, shoes, clothes and defrosting freezers). Hang the hair dryier from the rear view mirror, and plug it into a timer plug (if need be, use an extention cable). Set the timer plug to come for 15 mins every hour or so. Your car will always be dry and warm 8) The condensation drips wont cause the hair dryer to blow up...honest :wink:
