Aye, he's been posting on a couple fo the Mini forums with completely irrelevant information, like about gear oils
It's all just a sales pitch for the stuff he sells, and when I've PM'd him about what's suitable for a Mini, he doesn't know

Not that i condone his spamming off forums but i have ordered from him (now that i have an RX8 that has a thirst for oil like Oliver Reed) and with the discount he offers for club members i made a healthy saving.
Always been very knowledgeable and helpful when i have emailed him.
But still - it's a pretty cruddy way to drum up attention for your business

Recommend you check the oil level every second fill up
Tbh it will use about 1/2 litre every 500-1000 miles.

a mate at work had an RX8, and absolutely loved it. It seemed a tad artificial to me, but i suppose everything does compared to an elise. The oil usage wasnt to bad, but the MPG was truly dreadful. 23mpg was the max, and that was on a slow motorway cruise. less than 20 was more normal
