I can maybe get some... But I think a better soultion would be ply or plastic as above, and I can get you titanium bolts to screw into the material for sparks.

Problem with ply or plastic is the height

I currently run with 70mm of clearance so with a thin sheet of titanium i am down to maybe 67mm with a piece of plastic or ply that is manly enough for the job you would be about 60mm

If i can't get Titanium then steel would be choice number 2

Its not to protect the sump from impact its to stop abrasion damage. The casting of the sump is pretty bricksh1thouse engineering as the casting is massive for a sump pan

Depending on the shape of the shape of the sump - but could you encase the bottom of it in a sacrificial Ali plate?
A sort of flat tray with mount bolts on the sides or even up to the sump bolts?
Clearly with a trailing edge of Ti bolts to spark...

Cut the heads of Woody's titty bolts and epoxy them on? Bit like the what they do with the race bikes - have a few selected areas that take the brunt and allow the car to slide?

Or maybe a leading edge of Ti? Instead of covering the lot, just the front bit so it direts the ar over the rest?

Bear in mind that if it does anything other than glance off the plate it will need to take the weight of the front of the car and therefore casue a loss of grip as it lifts off.

How did you get on with this ? Have a problem with the 340 now living in the land of the speed bumps and pish road. Initially I was not too concerned as I thought it was just the undertray bolts but have noticed it is increasingly teh front splitter that is taking the brunt.
I take them uber slow and feel the scrape rather than full beans and take the "hit". Thinking of some form of skid plat for the bumps to prevend the grp being reduced. Naturally the thinner the better so as not to make the problem worse.

Use stainless, as you can actually get hold of it.
A nice long strip sikaflexed on to the bottom of the splitter will save the grp and still flex with it a bit.
