Yawn - move on. Yes it's a tuned engine, but this one isn't the same story as the swiss-cheese standard head job I had before. And that lasted TWO YEARS of my abuse. It was probably user error that killed it in the end (combination of filter fcuk up and running too rich - as I think this Lambda is fubared)

If it does go - I spend another 500 quid and whack another one in. Now the infrastructures there, I would be able to do the next one in a weekend.

You made the same error as me with the K and thought something could be done with the standard head. I'd not look at anything under a VVC spec now....

It's still not in the same league as not tightening the bolts HOLDING YOUR BRAKES ON and then going on track with your ten grand jap engine ;)

maybe i took it wrongly, but somehow this technical question turned into another chance for you to have a bash at how much money i spent on my engine.

i didnt see the link between my stupidity with my brakes, and what that has do to with me having a honda, or how much it cost. it didnt cost 10K btw.

where did i mention your engine breaking?? seems like everytime i post i have you or mac having a go about the honda. this was a talk about brakes, you ripped the pish (quite fairly), i have a joke about getting my own back when your CAR breaks, you have another pop at my decision to put a honda in.

gets a bit tiresome after a while. i have no problems with people ripping the pish, i'm all for it, but the reminders of how much my engine cost, when the discussion has nothing to do with engines is what riles me.
