I think I have a choice of 3 engine specs at the moment, I am sure I will need all 3 just to get through this year :damnfunny

Engine spec will follow, cant spill all my cards just yet.

I've got some k-series bits sitting in my shed I'm most likely never ever going to use...

Throttle bodies+airbox,
Luminition ecu (GEMS),
285H cams,
Verniers,
CR gearbox,

All used.

I was just going to keep them sitting in the shed incase I ever did want to use them, but that day will never come so I'd be willing to sell them on.

Oh jeez.

The emergence of another S1 rebuild thread (that's a 100% increase from the previous tally!!) makes me realise us S1 sorts are heading for the same autojumble-tastic mindset as current Elan and early Esprit owners!!! Does this mean I'll soon be visiting the Club Lotus show in a faded Lotus green jacket, raking around in vain for XYZ rare S1 part?!

Bravo Stu, and you are near enough that I may just pop over sometime to marvel at your bravery ;-)

You'll be next on the S1 rebuild list Campbell, we can all get together and talk about bolt sizes, where to buy Lotus door seals and why S1's are better than S2's.

Now Now, Lets not get to carried away, however at the money I seem to be shelling out at the moment, Auto jumbles are starting to sound like a good idea!!!
I would have been cheeper buying a new one........no joke
If I had to pay for all the bits I have , and am buying to fit on the car, would be well into 5 figures, but then again, when its finished(never will be) it will be all worth it.
Its now fully in bits, so will be starting to put it back together this weekend, just ordered new rad and PRRT to go with the oil to water cooler fron elise parts, very tidy looking.( Also ended up ordering the upgraded rad after finding out the plastic end cap ones burst)
More pics to follow.
