S1 Cant Rails

a little more complicated, you spread it on both surfaces, let it go tacky (few mins) then push together for an instant bond.

Mine do this too, I have the old school clips, I just tighten the screw whenever it comes loose. It's never really bothered me . . .

. . . until Sunday, when I put the roof on Fergus' car which is a 2000 model and had the new ace clips on his cant rails and they were way better! I'm considering thinking about changing mine now, but probably won't as I will forget if it's awhile before I see the new clips again

tightened the screw last night. it partly alleviates the problem, but it seems the RH rail doesn't fit as snugly as the LH one. To get the better clips, do I need new rails, or can i fit new clips to the current rails??

(i've never actually seen the newer clips, so i've no idea what they look like, or how they fit...

Anyone help?)

AFAIK, the newer clips just screw in place of the older ones. Not having seen them with my own eyes, though, I couldn't promise you
