Thought about changing the car then thought how much money it's going to cost against how little it would cost to change the current set up, on a car i really like/enjoy.

The Elise S & R are still great handling cars so my theory was if I did decide to go down that route that I wouldn't kill it too much. I would obviously hold onto the Exige set up for when the roads get better, when I get sick of the softer set up or when I decide to sell it on.

I agree some people will think it's a rediculous idea but hey, it's my car and my money so meh.

Never been in an Exige so can't comment on how stiff the suspension is, but our Elise S doesn't exactly waft over the potholes. I find myself having to weave about trying to avoid the worst ones, although generally it is not bad.

If you want to get a feel for the Elise suspension, give me a shout and I'll take for a spin.
