nuts! My roof was on my list of 'to-do's' for this spring until my water pump broke and i had to divert money to that. Was banking on being able to get it done later in the year. Reckon the stitching in mine will only last a few more removals! Would attempt it myself but think my suturing skills won't quite stretch to that!! Hope craig can sort something out cause i'd imagine there are lots of roofs needing done up here-our climate can't be kind to them.

We had a roof patched by Bill Ramsay who is just behind Ikea and Costco in Edinburgh. He does all sorts of repairs/re-trims and whilst his unit looks like it could do with a good tidy out, he did a great job. Will find out his number and post it up.

Thats a real shame, they do an excellent job. The one thing I was really happy with on my car.

My roof is also a bit tatty and broken, so will be interested to see what other options are available.

Did Craig at Murray mention him to you? He told me about someone needing a fairly quick / emergency repair on a soft top, and going to a place near Ikea.

Anyone who has seen my car / sees my car should check out the seats. Transcal in Livingstone refurb'd them for me and they look fantastic / didn't take as long as i've heard Hethel can take! Ok, so no probax conversion but that was rumoured somewhere to be the addition of 3 strips of foam, and who needs comfort in an S1 anyway?!

I've decided that I prefer the standard seats with rally cushion inserts in my S1 to the probax in Elaine's. The back panel just doesn't seem to fit the seat properly - I roll off it. Certainly wouldn't spend the money on probax, but I'd shell £60 inserts and some heavy duty velcro for the standard seats.

Welcome to try out Elaine's seats, but TBH, I don't think you'll find a massive difference. Corbeau also did an insert that went right up the back of the seat - not sure it's still available, but a quick trawl of demon thieves will tell you.

S2 Exige type seats with harnesses & probax are awesome if that helps....

Super comfy for hours at a time as tested on FF last year!

not to keen on the inserts having sat in woody's I feel perched up high, if I could I would lower the original seat that wee bit I like to sit as low as possible
