Why not use a pacsafe mesh which is then padlocked into the rack?

Not sure about the sizing but it could cover a normal holdall or two kept low for less drag. Might need an additional few secure connections though.

Exactly what we did on both Stelvios. 4 compression sacks fit nicely in a 60L holdall. Even held its own in Monaco. Which is more than can be said for our bedraggled sweat shop appearance after 400km along the Côte d'Azur autoroute at 30 degs !!

Wee update to let you know what we did in the end.

Plumped for the Danish aluminium box and modified with brackets to fit to the rack. Pleased so far with the results, shakedown this weekend.
