I wouldn't agree with that if you go with the option I did. £7 for the cable + 20 mins fitting vs £25 for an iTrip.

Luckily the money spent on my iTrip wasn't wasted cos I can use it in my other cars.

I guess we could split some hairs over this Simon ;-)

Our iTrip not only runs in the Elise, of course, it comes with us in the Golf, and enables music through hi-fis in hotel rooms, apartments etc when on hols without need for further cables, speakers etc. I also use it to play fave tunes into our "painting gettoblaster" when doing the old DIY ;-)

So our £25 has gone a long way. As has your £7 - win:win :-)

Oh well, think i'll give the itrip a miss then and carry on hinting to the g/f for a new head unit for xmas.
