Thanks Si :)

I take it you mean that your ducting is fixed onto the bar passing downwards to the rear subframe. In mine, the ducting passes under this bar and over the fuel lines through what is quite a tight gap.

It is not immediately obvious how fastening this more tightly to the bar would protect the fuel lines, because the gap and ducting are roughly the same width.

Also, there is a slight bend in the rubber attachment onto the throttle body because the angle of the airbox was too obtuse to meet the ducting coming under the downbar and past the header tank. I have it looking just as it did in the pictures, but was a little concerned by the slight kink in the rubber airbox-to-throttle body attachment. Any comments?

Can you not rotate the rubber Hurricane-TB hose to get a better angle? I had to do this quite a few times until it sat properly. Dunno how different an S2 is mind.

I have tried this  . The angle in the Hurricane-TB rubber hose is at its best to receive the ducting, but still needs to kink. Does anyone else with an S2 find that there is a requirement to kink this slightly to make it fit with the ducting, or do they just put another bend in the ducting :?:

The ITG "rubber hose" has a reverse curve in it to aid alignment.

99.9% of owners don't bother though. You could always tie a bit of string to the end of the pipe that needs to feed to the side intake and thread it through from the engine side (using a straightened coathanger or the like) and pass the ducting towards the side intake.... then grab it from the other side (side pod) and secure with zip ties. Just a thought :)

Take the wheel off, you won't manage it on a 111S without doing it.
