I know on the S2 exige that you cannot get as much camber without machining the uprights. Ed has struggled with this as has Kenny i think.
Remember for the road, that you do not want as much camber as you dont get anywhere near enough bodyroll for it to make the tyre work well. Lotus know a fair bit about setting up good handling cars (thats why we all bought them) and they only use 0.1 deg camber on the front.
I chose to optimise my car as a track toy, If i wasnt on track then i would go with lotus settings. well, there or thereabouts.

I am running -0.4 with the R tyres (I would have liked a little more but couldn't get it without machining) - even so it doesn't seem to be too slow
But each to his own - I am sure other people have all sorts of settings that suit them, some with more camber, some with less
Cheers,
Robin
I was given the settings by the bloke from Motorsport and was quite happy with them. It's very much a personal preference thing. I'll be putting some shims back in soon to make the car more road than track for Mandy taking it over.
I've spoken to Craig offline and suggested that he resets them to factory standard
Cheers

Its not so much a personal preference when you are running road tyres on the road, i think that is just far too much for road tyres. They dont generate enough grip to get the car pitched over to warrant that much camber. Fine on track on 48's but too much for road tyres. It will just cost grip

The personal preference thing is me running -1.6 compared to Simon running -1.1
For road use then road -0.3 to -0.8 would be fine and is what the elise will be running next year.

340r track set-up wouldn't suit an S2 - it's fine for the S1 though.

Ross, if the goe was done over a year ago, chances are your settings are no longer anything like the 340R! Get it checked out if those settings are what you're after - a pothole or bump can undo the geo
