Can you not reach round the back? Its what I do, brake bleed is about an hour total. Bit fiddly but possible even with a ride height of 150mm.robin wrote:With the 5 spokes you might be able to get enough access with the wheels on - pretty sure you need to remove the wheels for 6 spokes and S2 wheels - might be wrong though - nothing to stop people trying it and finding out I guess!

Ah - never tried it this way - sounds like more of a pain than taking the wheel off.RICHARDHUMBLE wrote: Can you not reach round the back? Its what I do, brake bleed is about an hour total. Bit fiddly but possible even with a ride height of 150mm.

Will top up oil level before this weekend and then go for a weeknight next week for the oil change and brake fluid change, if I can get the stuff in time. Probably Tuesday 24th. If that suits anyone, you're very welcome to pop round to lend a hand / make coffee / provide some jovial banter!
Cheers,
D

Not when I have to find some blocks to drive on, find the jack, find a piece of wood for the jack top, find the wheel brace and (Take note Shug!)a torque wrench before I even start... My way I need an 11mm spanner, my eazibleed kit, the spare from the Porker and some fresh fluid.....robin wrote:Ah - never tried it this way - sounds like more of a pain than taking the wheel off.RICHARDHUMBLE wrote: Can you not reach round the back? Might try to get over. Could turn into a mini sponges at your place...dezzy wrote:Will top up oil level before this weekend and then go for a weeknight next week for the oil change and brake fluid change, if I can get the stuff in time. Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....
You're more than welcome, but as for a mini sponges . . . my entire driveway is covered in chuckies, so ain't suitable for jacking. Can get 2 cars in the cul-de-sac outside though in the street. That's where I usually jack the car to work on it. Might p!ss off the neighbours, but I dinnae care!John Reid wrote:Might try to get over. So, where do I get Silkolene oil and Castrol Super Response (or AP Racing) brake fluid?
Cheers,
D
Halfords had the brake fluid in stock last time I was in the Kirkcaldy store
