150 on road runs. close to 250 on M-way below 90.

I think I hold the record of 6 fills in one day. 4 on track and 2 driving home from Snetterton. Oh that was a long day.

One behind on Monday, four on Track and one driving home, but just for 140 miles.

Thirsty buggers on track.

Can't remember whether the loss of the lambda under heavy loads would make a diff or not...from what I recall, its biggest role is to adjust fuel mixture during light throttle or cruise? And I doubt either of you were doing much of that ;-)

Yup - light throttle and cruise. Although without it, in those conditions it just reverts to chokingly rich for safety, so might well lead to that sort of mental consumption.

Just a quick update on the fuel situ.......109 miles before running clean out of petrol tonight! Dumb ass! The fuel light doesn't give you much warning!
By the sounds of things i'm driving it as hard as some do on track, i'll have to chill out! :P

Weekend has landed though, weather permittng I'll be out for a long run tomorrow so we'll see how far i get then.
Perhaps bump into some of you guys on the lecht road over the weekend.

(10mpg is about right for the M3.....the computer thing read an average of 8mpg on my last ring trip with it!)

That doesn't sound right. It's not possible to run it as hard on the road as on track. Have you checked for holes in your tank?

250.2 out of my last tank. 251 would have been less embarrassing

Normal driving/commuting or whatever I easily get 300-330 (boggo S1). A few fills ago I left Helensburgh on refill, and got to the Green Welly at 375 miles. Think I still had a gallon in the tank so I'd reckon on 400 to a tank. Not brave enough to run it that low though. I tend to fill it up when refill comes on.
