I wouldn't grumble!

Personally I wouldn't want anyone's "theiving gypsy trotters getting on it for a while" anyway  :D

right, been phoning round to get someone to fit customer-provided tyres...never thought it would be so hard!

So, Auto Image as Ross correctly stated are only fitting their own tyres, but Farmer Autocare are gonna fit at £15 per corner. they're open till 8 pm on weeknights, so should be handy for anyone else to bring their own in time for Friday.

I know ppl are worried about Farmer/Kwik-Fit, but all I need to do is ensure they use the right jacking points.

Begin Mantra:- it will be ok, it will be ok... and repeat to fade

I used the farmers out past Craigleith when I stayed in Edinburgh a good few times and they were spot on. They also have awesome coffee machines and pc`s you can use when waiting.

You also need to make sure they don't scrape the wheels when taking the tyres off. The machines they use at KF have a habit of doing that very easily.
And don't let them put the nuts back on with an air gun as they'll over torque them.
And make sure they put the right pressue in or you'll be driving around with over-inflated tyres.
And make sure they put them on the right way round
