Thanks Alan. I'm having a blast assembling this whole thing. Something about the pride and gratification of doing this yourself.

I'm glad that little zapper thing finally arrived. I sent it Aug 6th, so it must have taken the scenic route!? Sorry it took so long. I continue to hope your hand regains its dexterity and functionality.

Mac, you might want to split the first post. I know it's not as neat but you have a lot of pictures in one post and you have to wait for all of them to load to get to the new ones.

While I appreciate your thoughts on all the info in the first post, I (along with many) dislike trying to read about a build with pages of unrelated and/or side bar comments. For most it's convenient to have it all together, but I understand having to scroll to the update is mildly annoying, but not painful. For first readers.... It's great. I mainly started doing this because on other forums, threads are hijacked by undesirable and combative members.

While SE is not that way, I simply cut & paste this on 6 forums, so they're all the same. Actually, I've had quite a few indicate they liked it. They got the meat without the brussell sprouts.

No worries!

A blog is a nice way to string it all together too, of course. And you can just post to the forums when the blog has had an update.

Anyway, concentrate on getting your build right, the biog of it all is clearly secondary
