Pretty sure Thorney was sponsored by Tesco from 2010, is this article not from before that?

Regardless I know Thorney parted ways with Tesco a while back too, but I'm not sure why....

Prior to his "racing" career he was a VX220 tuner and used to reply to every post about bad performance, melted pistons and spluttering maps with the view that momentum would fix it. This article came out at about the same time and was widely discredited by real world tests by owners.

The VX scene is littered with people who were ripped off by him when the cars didn't get anywhere near the figures he quoted. At one point he blamed the way the car was tied down on the rolling road :lol:

He's now got zero credibility and the vast majority of stage 4 and stage 5 cars he ruined have been fixed by Courtenay.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?
