Standard. The body of the LSS shock is threaded with adjustable mounts

Re: Nitron Streets
After all the slagging maybe not from this thread but I've got a s2 set of nitron NTR40 if anyone is interested they can PM me.
I need to clean them up and will put them in classified at some point soon.
Serviced about 5years ago, but only were on car for about 1.5 years from 2013 and 6k miles since.
I liked them a lot, mines had a lot lower spring rate than loads at the time and ran them fairly soft most of the time and they worked for me, also meant I could get the ride height right.

Re: Nitron Streets
My rear shocks on my S2 Exige went last week - on Knockhill at a trackday
(12 years old)
got 10 un-easy laps in and realised the back end was sitting like a Vittara and oil dripping from them
so, retired early
Car is in Craigs at the moment. I just wanted standard Bilsteins - but there are no stock of them anywhere
so, Im having to go down the route of Nitrons.
Hope they are ok.
Im not going to be fannying about with the settings - apparently they come set equivalent to standard Bilsteins
£826 too!!

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'

Re: Nitron Streets
Bilstein will rebuild the old ones if you send them to them.

Re: Nitron Streets
Minimum cost of a rebuild from bilstein is £80 +vat per shock. If it needs a new piston then add another £25 + vat. I wanted to get my VX ones refurbished but was quoted £500 and they'd said there is no warranty on the work. Nitrons for me then, shame as I wanted to keep the compliance of the bilsteins.

Re: Nitron Streets
I found the street far superior to the bilsteins although they were old bilsteins so maybe not fair on them.
Huge difference on track and felt much better on the road too.

Re: Nitron Streets
Also bought them before the bilsteins were leaky so was able to sell them. Streets only cost me £400 after that.
