Toyos are ~£240 I'd go with them if possible as a budget tyre, especially through winter. The problem with most tyres from what I have gathered is the compounds are designed for your average mondeo to do 20k miles on so tend to be quite hard. Not what you need on a car that weighs half as much and is twice as quick (to 100 tuts anyway!)
