Cheers, what about the white elise? You need all the downforce you can get with all those ponies

Remember guys, it'd have to blend up with the clam if it's to do anything but cause drag.

If you look at Guegelmens car he had a wrap! that went round the front to a flat plane splitter.

Why is that ? The ones below do not ? Though the idea was to stop the air being force under the car ?

Sorry for images sizes

When air hit's the front of the elise it has to go around it. some goes through the rad, some goes over the top and some goes underneath.

The S1 exige solves some of the aerodynamic problems of the S1 elise, and the S2 is a change again.

The S1 elise produces alot of down force at the front, and lift at the rear one of the reasons it has a tendency to oversteer. fitting an ironing board type spoiler and tuning it would solve this problem (the exige is shaped that way and has said big spoiler for that reason)

Fitting a splitter will cause drag but it's job is to stop the air hitting the front from going underneath, this creates lower pressure air that will help pull the car down as well as creating a high pressure area pushing it down.

I am hoping if I fit my front splitter, 160 spoiler and extended rear diffuser it will balance things out a bit better.

the data from air tunnel testing i have gives the s1 as having front lift as std a spliter also increased rear down force slightly this was tested with roof on / off windows up /down gurney flaps fitted /chassis rake / side skirts ect ect all independently

As I am always looking to expand on the information I have, could you pop me off a copy of any aero information you have ?

Yea thats the one, not that happy with it tbh. As it comes it wont fit a standard S1 roof, had to chop 1" off it and smooth it.
Its Sikaflexed on so it could be removed later :thumbsup
