Chers gents,

I take it the TDC finder is a dead stop (Screws into plug hole and contacts the piston to give an absolute piston position?) or is that a little agricutrual for a K?
I was going to use a dial gauge on a cam follower on number 1 to find TDC lift, can someone please translate the rest of the figures?

I think DVA recommends using a dial gauge (with suitable extension) down the plug hole to find correct TDC.

I'll come get them when I'm ready, if that's ok. It's a little way off yet, I want to get the head washed again then I'll have to gather the rest of my shopping list.

This thread is good enough for a Question of Sport style ' What happens next ?'

hopefully it wont be in the news as ' Part of leuchars airbase was closed today after an explosion in one of the hangers. Apparently some DIY porting was going on, although that is unconfirmed at this moment. Witnesses close to the scene reported that shortly after the explosion, a Northern accent could be heard to say "that fcuking Dremel. Right, what are we gonna do now"

More like the RAF are unavailable for comment on their latest test for a fuel air combustion weapon detonated yesterday afternoon.
Witnesses reported seeing a puff of smoke from a hanger then a large splash several miles out to sea.
Amazed fishermen Justin Cider on board the MV Kipper Minge was quoted as saying "Farking 'ell".
