This is going to be probably the best S1 on the road when it's done. And in orange too... *drool*

Loving those seats!

I got some done by Lotus for a customer some 18 months ago so yes, they can. Didn't realise there was a time when they didn't. I just asked Mel the question and he said yes.

Not cheap though.

Dan
I thought an S1 seat re-trim meant they just re-did worn out seats with the same arse numbing OE stuff. What's the cost for a Probax refurb of S1 seats?

I figured Alan would have paid a huge price for the whole lot, and couldn't see anywhere that gave prices for seats only...

\edited to add, do you mean ask/go through B&C? I'd prob want to go through somewhere more local (where I could borrow a spare seat while mine was getting done.

£75 to convert a standard S1 seat to a Probax is peanuts really. Would be interested in that myself.

What is the process of actually getting them done, ie shipping etc?

TBH, I think it's £75 on top of the cost of the seat refurb, not in total. That's how I read it anyway...

Had some good news today, my interior arrived. Really didn't want to spend the money doing this but im so glad i did. I used Bell&Colvill who then send them directly to Lotus, Only took a month. I decided to go for Pro Back seats, a fairly new service there doing for the S1. The quality is superb, night and day compared to what was in it before.

Remember the car will be Orange when i get it back

Hi Tim,

It is £75 extra on top of an original seat re trim. Sorry, should have been clearer.

Which brings it to £310 a Seat ......

I don't use MMC parts department anymore as they can't do anything correctly or on time. B & C delivered them to me in one day.

I took the runners off and sent them down to B&C. I few emails to a guy called Mel at Lotus and he gives you a price.

Once they are ready B&C send them up (as i said before only took a day to send them). The entire process took a month. Great service, really chuffed.

That interior is superb 8) . I know that Tut will have a fit, but I think that interior and a full carpet set would make an S1 a very comfortable place to be. Would still be tons lighter than my lardy arsed S2 exige :D
