Nope CraigW bought it along with the UCR gearbox, which he is fitting into his 340.

Fitted mate :thumbsup
Great photos jen, throttle bodies lovely. How much benefit should Colin see with the manifold/body or is sort of experimental?

Alan says that the manifold should give 8-10 bhp. Those manifolds have proven to give good results before.

As for the throttle body, the original doesn't fit. So you can either use an adaptor plate or buy az custom one. Clockwise made that one, any excuse for a bit of billet.

It all should compliment the cams well

As Jen says, not sure what that inlet manifold is, but the one on the JDM engine which I have on N1 and N3, is worth around 10hp, and a lot of owners fit the JDM one onto their UK spec engines, but also because the standard ones are renowned for splitting.

It's an RBC manifold from a euro Accord Type R. You need to cut a water jacket out and then use a different throttle body or adapter plate. It gives good improvements even from the JDM but will not fit without bulkhead modifications.

I think.

Loving this thread. Good work Jen/Allan.

A Honda Elise is on my shortlist of maybes so I'm keen to see how you both get on.

Incidentally, I've seen the orange Elise about town; it looks awesome 8)

Thank you, I may well take you up on the offer - for some hints and tips more than anything. A Blue Peter special would be ideal, but I'd also consider doing the conversion myself if it's economical enough.

Don't be scared if you see a guy in a TT flashing at you

Simon
