Excellent reference. Just had a quick look at the brakes section and learnt a lot.

Brakes - what do they do?
The simple answer : they slow you down.

I don't understand this word "slow" is that what you do after you have crashed ?

I think it's what you supposed to do before driving into the banking at the other end of a corner
