Need new rear 48's

Post by Andy D » Thu Sep 20, 2007 4:09 pm

Finished off my rear AO48's at SIDC last satuday and thought I could just get a new set supplied and fitted by Wheelsaround off the shelf but they reckon it could be as much as 6 weeks to supply them

Any suggestions where I can get them at a good price and quickly?

I sold my part worns to JJ (full set). Maybe you could haggle with him as I think he was just keeping them for next year.

Ronnie did mention the Yoko shortage to me when I swapped to Toyo's a couple of months ago. Maybe you could get non-LTS quicker?

I believe Plans can get MH which are basically the same and far cheaper! :thumbsup

What do you think of the Toyos? I'd maybe swap all 4 if I can't get 48's

Compound of A048. Medium Hard. The ones you usually get are marked LTS (for Lotus) but the MH are suppposedly as close as anyone can tell...

It was T1R's I got Andy, not R888's.... so not really comparable with the 48's. As suggested, try the non-LTS compound.
