Thought I would put a post up for specialist tools that would be helpful for working on an Elise.

I have:
a rivinut gun
ball joint press (on the car)
wind back tool for the rear brake pistons

If anyone needs to borrow these, please let me know.

i have the S2 2001 k series workshop manual on cd if anyone's wanting a copy

also have a collection of "normal tools"

plus electric saw, jigsaw, sander, table saw, nail gun etc

also work on building sites a lot so have access to big tools should you need to dig a really massive hole or really break something in a demolition sort of way

Ali,
Wouldn't mind the 111R manual on CD, can you burn a copy and I'll reimburse you ?. I'm in Abz so can pick it up any time,

Cheers,

Robin

I have an electric impact gun... if your nuts are stiff this will sort them out.

Also a liquid extractor, basically a vacumn pump that can suck out lube oil/coolant/brake fluid/other... through a small pipe. Can do an oil change without removing sump plug.

Marine engineer!!!
Where are you based? I need someone with a sledgehammer to fit a new floor in my arrowflyte and someone of considerable skill to persuade the evinrude 70 not to stall when I floor it after a few minutes sitting at idle ie the time it takes to sort out a skier

Stephen,

Have you got the boat over at the new house yet?

I might be able to tow it in the next week or two.
