Battery flat... 3.6v reading. been left for three weeks. My fault, forgot to isolate it before I went offshore..

Voltage is so low my new fangled battery charger doesnt detect the battery being connected and wont charge.

Next I try my trusty old jump leads to find that one of the leads has a break in it somewhere.... aw FFS again...

So, new jump leads from the garage tonight, £20....

Will try to get her jumped up in the morning and leave her running for a while to get some voltage in her, Due to drop the car off at the Garage around lunchtime Sunday for her MOT re-test on Monday morning... So I am hopeing that the battery recovers or its a quick shimmy down to Halfrauds for a new battery... not many places open on a Sunday.

Garage will be fitting new anti roll bar drop links and front track rod ends and doing a quick front end geo on the car for me at the same time..

Forgot to mention.... Fife Auto Centre is an "Elise friendly" garage... emissions are not an issue... nod wink nod wink...

I also like Fife Auto Centre! They have been very good to our cars in the past and will hopefully continue to do so (nod wink, nod wink)! Great bunch of guys they have in Glenrothes and nothing is ever too much trouble. :)
