Does anyone know the normal size for brake discs and best place to get them?
Saw 280mm drilled & grooved fronts for £215 exc vat - pair.. Wasnt sure if that was good?
And Throttle body
http://www.eliseparts.com/shop/index.ph ... f3a90db56d good upgrade and worth it? If so i will ask Ali to fit this along with the new belts on the 10th...
Cheers

I would go for Stu's grooved discs. Much cheaper and I have found them excellent on road and track so far.

I read somewhere that going above a 52mm TB is completely pointless, especially if the head is standard

Might just go for the 52 then....... Although im not sure what this new car has on it just now? Might have to post a pic up or is there any way i can tell straight away size spec of the current tb ?
The AP racing discs look good - easy for someone like Ali to fit for me?

That looks like a mini supercharger cos it is one. The inlets and exhausts on it are totally wrong as its just an Eaton. You will have to do just as much fabrication to make it fit, without any of the pipework you may as well just get a Mini one....

thought it was a bit ropey, thats why I asked the *cough* experts, the big throttle body idea is my kinda project though as I have a plastic one that may be sticky or something so looking to upgrade (on the cheap:D ) and I may have found one on ebay <£20

Vauxhall...?
Will it fit?!?!
You might have just made yourself another job, the rover ones just bolt on and have most of the required fittings, connectors, bleeds, etc....

mildly but getting there
Robins old 135 Head and a set of cams from Robin (other than that I dunno)
the DIY option appeals to me and not just cause I'm tight. excuse my ignorance but where would I get a Tomcat one ?
