induction hose placement for hurricane

Just finished fitting a hurricane induction kit this morning but not too happy with the induction hose route and want to check before I put the wheel and liner back on.

There are 2 brackets welded to the beam to which the old air box mount was connected to. The upper one seems to bang in the middle of where my induction pipe wants to pass under. If I put it below this, I feel it fouls the fuel lines quite a bit - if above, it gives a much greater kink in the hose and not as great a fit at the throttle body.
Instructions not much help - one photo shows it above and another shows it below this bracket mount ! :scratch

Done a search on the numerous threads on Hurricanes but can't see an answer. Also tried playing about with the rubber hose off the throttle body to get a better angle without much luck. Seems to me to be a compromise. What have others with S2 111s's done - above or below this bracket ?

I've got a different engine, so can't help. PM Yvo, he'll sort you out.
