ABS cable doofer

Hi guys,

had my wheels off the other day to check the pads and noticed that the wire for what i presume is the ABS has been worn through and showing the wire core. Done a few brake tests and the wheel in question locks up.
Car still under warranty.....but what can i do before knockhill on the 24th?
I take it that it is simple and quick to replace??

ABS what is this witch craft you speak of?...pull the fuse! you don't need it!

And a bit of spannerwork will both improved brake feel (Dump the servo) and lighten the car (bin the ABS system)

Tape it up for the track day then get it replaced under warrenty

And ignore the muppets that are telling you to disconnect it - they'll not be quite so helpful when you've locked up in the wet and gone straight into the back of someone at the hairpin ...

I supose you should really get it fixed to then. I had an Audi S2 that the abs failed on. Was quite scary when the brakes locked up coming up to a busy junction. I hate servo assisted brakes!
