220 turbo throttle body mods

I've managed to find a cheap 220 turbo throttle body. Has anyone got the details and maybe some pics of the mods that need to be done to it to make it elise compatible? and is it def the turbo one that I need ie.56mm?...just to confirm before I do buy it.

I'm going to buy the bit anyway. Not in a big rush to get it on the car but would be nice to get it on the car for knockhill on Saturday. Just to see if it does make any differance.

Cheers Rich! My throttle body arrived today so I'll hopefully have time to get cutting tonight...trying to get the new fuel pump in to.

Does it matter if you use the turbo throttle pot or do you have to use the original one?

What am I looking at the second pic?? mine looks like that anyway

Second pic was vertically downwards. The Idle air take off is too small, I chopped it off the placcy inlet manifold, it fit perfectly!

throttle pot just bolted straight on, I would use the original one if it works.

Don't forget you need a throttle stop if yours doesn't have one.

Got most of it done tonight. Made a trottle stop, got the cruise control thing cut off. Just got swap the trottle pot and blank off the small pipes that come off on the bottom and I'm done

Did you just leave your breather pipe disconected?

Mine never, think I'm just going to leave it off and put one of those filter things on it. Mine never even had idle air take off. Had to drill mine and put a bit of pipe in it.

Keep the one after the throttle (Vacuum) and put the filter on the other one, that way you will maintian the flow through the head.

Its running!

But...when I started it the rpm was 1500 (cold engine) then when the temp got up to 75 the revs went up to 2000rpm. Still need to double check for air leaks etc. Is that small screw thing above the throttle pot for setting the idle speed?

Nope, do the ECU reset. Ignition on but engine not running, pedal to the floor 5 times or more, ignition off. And then go for a start. Should idle roughly for a bit then sort itself out.

I'll give that a try tonight. If you don't use that idle screw to adjust the idle would you not have to screw the screw all the way in to blank it off?
