How much of a rock? Are you talking like 10mm or so? Mine does that and it seems to be movement between seat/rail from what I can see. The fixed passenger one is fine.
I have no signature.

If that's my old car (SN55CJV or similar) then it's probably my fat barsteward weight that has loosened the frame. The slider can move in the rail, and the frame itself can have some play in it; all made worse by 17 stone rocking about it in whilst giving it some on track.

You might be able to resolve this by (a) checking rails are tightly bolted to floor in car, (b) seat is bolted tightly to frame (need to remove seat for this).

You might find that it's just wear and distortion that has loosened it all, in which case you might be able to fettle it to return to former glory or you might just have to live with it.

Nigerian Ali has removed Exige seats and discovered (I think it was Mandy who recommended the technique actually) that you remove drivers seat through pax door and vice versa.

Cheers,
Robin
