Stu - Brake Discs

Post by Edin430 » Mon Nov 26, 2007 8:59 pm

Fancy doing me a cheeky wee deal on some drilled discs for the fronts??

Discs as big as possible as I'e seen different sizes....

Tight on cash so make me an offer I can't refuse as I will need to pay to get them fitted as well.....

Do you only have 135bhp?? I've been racing all year with 223bhp, and the eliseparts ones have almost taken the punishment. They have worn heavily, but i never really had a problem with overheating. Have you tried bleeding the fluid properly? What pads are you running?

I get a heavy vibration from the front after serious track work... Running pagid rs-14's and ap600 fluid. I'm pretty sure the fluid and pads are fine, as the car still brakes ok, but the vibration is very bad when they're hot. I should point out that i can happily get about 20 laps of knockers before the problem arises, so i'm pretty sure its disc temperature related.

Could be the steel rotor expanding at a rate and buckling the alu bell? I dont know if the elise parts ones are fully floating?

Cheers,

Steve
