my personal preference is pagid rs-42's for road/track and rs-14's for track/loon , but they're expensive and overkill unless you're doing a lot of track work. rs-14's also eat discs until you've got them hot...
I know a few folk on here use SBS pads & have a lot of good things to say about them. Might be worthwhile dropping stu160 a PM about the SBS pads.
Cheers,
Steve

If its cheap and cheerful and no track then greenstuffs would do and are only £45ish F or R?

heard of their discs, but never used or even heard of anybody using their pads....
Mintex 1144 is another choice for a roadish setup and not too expenseive.
What kind of stuff are you going to be doing with the car? Are you going for lotus disks again too?
Cheers,
Steve

I can't see a case for anythign beyond RS42's. You might as well spend on the things you'll be relying on when you get it wrong.
Oh and my 111r managed 11k on a set so its not like you'll be changing them every other week like i was on the RLC.
RS14's are for people with hard track use only i would say - f***ing awesome though!

I have a full set green stuff in the garage I could sell. I have had them for 3 years and will never use them.
Make me a offer.
PS I can deliver if you can wait until the 16th.

I'm not a fan of the Green Stuff pads. Cheap, but not cheerful.
My money goes on M1144 as they seem to be good at everything. They don't quite have the bite of RS42, but at less than half the price....

Standard drilled discs yeah....
I heard the black diamond ones were great - but not sure if you can mix and match pads and discs?
Not heard good things about the green stuff pads...

I had greenstuff pads on my car, with Stu's dics, pads never let me down, and still life in them after 14+months.

I've used the Black Diamond discs and pads on a Scirocco, I like the discs very much, but the pads are only a cheap fast road pad really. Didn't know they made pads for the Elise though.
