servicing intervals , and ali's location?

cant find my little book thingy at the moment , my car now has 10k miles on the clock , its last service was at 3k I think? Can someone quickly jot down the A,B etc service schedule ? not sure if I am due one soon or not .

Also as I am through in glasgow and intend in taking the car to ali soon , were exactly is his workshop ? is it far from city center ? Was thinking along the lines of drop the car off , taxi or bus into town for the day then pick up ?

He's very near Ikea, which is just off the bypass.

Ali is very accomodating. He gave me a lift into the train station when he worked on my car. I'm sure if that is your only problem then he will see you alright.

Ali is going to lighten my wallet by over £300 on Monday.... still, it's £400 cheaper than the quote I got from MMC. Hopefully find out some info on this 'upgrade' that keeps being mentioned... Iddon spec or something??

Could have done without though... did the tax return last night and had to pay those feckers a big lump sum by debit card.

Thanks m8 , I was sure you told me last time you were up at mines but couldnt remember !

So the car should be cool till 18k miles then ? kinda feels like a long time away , should i be doing any sort of maintenance in the meantime ?

ps. MIL light hasnt came back on yet m8 , all is good , still owe you one

guess I am just a little paranoid , done 4k miles since I got the car and have not done one thing to it , just presumed being a more specialised car it woud some more TLC, like frequent oil changes or summit .

however I really do need to refill my window washer fluid this weekend ! were bout is the container ? not in the access panels at front I hope ?

What age is your car jama?

If your first service was at 3K, then it was probably done after 1 year. Does that not mean your next service is 1 year or 9K miles after?? SO it would need a service at 12K

55 plate , ok found my book . Car was registered on 1/9/05 , Last service was at 3481 miles on 12/9/06. , the last service was over a year ago . The book states within 9000 miles or 12 months of the previous one . So I need a service right ?
