S1 elise servicing

Post by Biodad25 » Mon Apr 18, 2005 8:37 pm

S1 Elise servicing query

I really need help.

I stay in Glasgow, which is in Scotland!?!

I have a 1999 S1 Elise with 17500 miles on the clock. Immaculate car complete down to its original tyres.

I bought the car a year ago from Murray Lotus.

Since I have owned the car for a year I thought I should get it serviced. I phoned Murray Lotus and the have quoted £463 for the service.

I need suggestions about servicing, a ,

Hi there - where abouts are you in Glasgow? Sadly, there don't seem to be too many decent independants round out way - I do my servicing myself, so can't advise on one.

I'd advise joining up the Yahoo group as Simon says (good game that!) as you'll definately get a variety of answers on there :-)

 Not heard that one before!
I replied to the same thread on SELOC, you could try David Bruntnell who is an SE member and is now doing Elise servicing.

Before I bought my car, I asked the same question -

quite a few folk suggested Kenny Brown in Hillington.

He used to prep a Group N Impreza for a friend of my Dad, and Elan owners said he was good.

I obviously have not tried him as I only just got the car but I will be when the time comes.
