Has anyone fixed the window glass fault...

...and want to help me do mine? If I cant get it fixed under the warranty that is (non-lotus warranty).

It's a bastid and will probably need special glue.

It's a proper b'stard, as G says. Did mine a year or so ago... However, I did have a source of really good glue, which I now don't have.
I'd be happy to help, but the problem is timing. I don't have a spare two minutes over the next two months! Is the car going to be an every day driver? and also where is it stored? ie - is it urgent?
Worst part is actually getting to the bolts inside the door. After that, the gluing & positioning is a piece o piss! You do have to make sure and get decent glue, however, super glue will NOT do

I`ll be using it most days - but it will be stored under cover. I`d rather get it done ASAP though as stuff like that annoys the hell out of me. I was down at Murrays in Glasgow earlier and spoke to the mechanic and he gave me a few pointers, so I`ll give it a whack once I have the parts.
If anyone else knows how and would like to help it`d be much appreciated!

Christ, Murray glasgow have their own mechanics now? Last time I went in there (admittedly, not too lang after they opened) they still relied on Edinburgh for everything.
Glad to see it's growing - had my doubts about it's location TBH, but I suppose it hasn't harmed Edinburgh...

Thought I`d update this having looked at it the other night.
So I went to Murrays, bought the clips, went to b&q, bought the glue, looked out the tools and removed the doorcard.
It wasnt the clips that had broken, but the balljoint which slots into the runners had popped out. The runners had been rebonded by the previous owner though as the inner plastic sheet was missing.
The only way I could see to get the plastic balljoint back in the runner was to open up the runner with pliers then crimp it "shut". The reason the balls had popped out (steady) was that the rubber guide channel in the door was fecked, and wouldnt let the glass slide.
Moral of the story; dont buy parts until you know what the problem is!
