Well as you guys know I got the exige finnished and have done a couple of hundred miles with no probs so pretty much ready for donny. As for the car, I think I prefer it to the s1, when cornering it seem somehow tighter but definitly heavier! Anyway has anyone had the fan blower pack up on their s2? Mine packed in this morning, it did this before but started working again, this time there was a burning smell! Does anyone know if its the fan itself which breaks or isi it the wiring? either way the clams to come off so looks like ive got a cold trip down to donny. The other question regards the springs on the s2 exige, are they the same on the n/a and S? thing is Ive got a VX turbo front shock fitted and it sits around 10 mm higher which isnt great for track but Ill manage if I have to.

Can not answer that question Craig, but is your car not still under its Warranty period?

ps If you do not have your heater for Donnie, is there any form of portable heater that you could put in the footwell that would run off the 12v socket?

Craig, I have exactly the same issue in mine, I believe its the resistor that goes do to water collecting under the clamshell. The Lotus fix is to drill some holes in the bottom to let the water out

Its a clam off job to fix although someone on exiges.com claims otherwise, I suspect they may have abnormally long and skinny arms to reach it from the access panels.

Even with the heater and fan off mine is usually warm enough with just the draught of air passing through the vents.

As for the warranty, its still under but thought its a little rude to ask them to do this. If they take of the clam and see the left sills been modified they could tell me thery are not paying and Id have to pick up the car in pieces!

Its a common problem......TADTS.....mine got sorted before the warranty expired!
As long as the mods don't affect that resistor thingy......whichh I think is unlikely???
