Hi guys
Been lloking into a set of fronts for my S2, I bought a set of T1Rs for the rear last year but I was searching & noticed an old post from Ed last year about front sizes 195/50/16? Are these suitable as I dont want to have to get a full set of something else as the rears are still like new & to be honest it hasn't been a nice driving experience with different tyres front & back? I run the 195/55 profile at the moment, but didnt know that a /50 was available. The Toyo sizing chart says that the /50 profile is ok to mount on a 5.5 rim, so dont see any problems.

steve the set of wheels I sold you had 195/50 fronts on them!

yup, you're indeed correct!

for some reason i thought they were 55's!

Is anyone else running their front tyres on a different size to the factory fitment?

they do a 185/50/16 in the T1Rs as well.

I prefered the 185 width to the 195 - less squidge.
