Mine was blowing flexi. I managed to find an S2 manifold off of ebay for £10 a couple of weeks later ebay turned up an S2 flexi section for £35 that came off a car with 5000 miles. Both fitted straight in with no mods and are much better quality.

Keep checking ebay the bits always turn up.

I had a new flexi welded into my exhuast, although mine is an exige type manifold and different from yours, you can still do this. My stainless flexi cost £35, in mild steel it should be a bit less, though the welding was free and I fitted it myself. Is the rest of the pipe in good condition? If not it'll not be worth replacing just the flexi. A decent garage should be able to do it no-bother.

I botched mine together in the best pikey fashion from bits from partco, for the clio mind. as the flexi and cat are a single piece
