Someone had suggested this to me on here a wee while ago,
So just wondered what the reccomended paint would be, I knoe Japlac is heat proof but would it withstand the heat from a tail pipe?

I used hamerite barbeque paint to touch up my car's tail pipes (probably not what you're wanting to do) - seems to work ok.

When you say touchup what exactly do you mean? Was your pipes chrome with a little rust that needed covering for example?

You can also get car-specific paint that can be used on cylinder heads and disc hubs. Think I used hammerite on an exhaust 100 years ago and it was fine.

'bout to say something really dumb about the exhaust not being that hot, but I know how hot the Caterham exhaust gets (and the indescribable smell when you drive through cow sh*t and it splats on the exhaust :puke
