Static Noise Testing

After reading a couple of threads about people not being allowed on track days down south I borrowed a sound meter tonight to check out loud the 7 is.
Idle 60db
3k 95db
5k 99db
I'm almost 90% sure that the static test is carried out at 3k rpm but does anyone know for sure? And from these figures I'm guessing that the car wouldnt pass the drive by tests?

Usually 50% of full throttle, so lie about the redline if necessary.
Drive-bys aren't that common - it'd fail at Bedford, but so would most things over a milk float. Not sure what drive-by limits are at other venues.

Mines clocked 92db at 3/4 throttle at Doune this year and mine is quiet
Just be careful where you do the testing - we tried it at Daves and got a lot of secondary noise bouncing back of the house and wall etc.

You are normally asked what your max revs are, I obviously lie, and get away with 4-4.5K.
At Cadwell for static I am less than 85db without a CAT, which translates to just under the 98db limit at Donnie on drive by as long as I stay under 7K for the three meters. However the one time that I opened up in 3rd I was black flagged for 99.5db.
Bedford is a bloody joke, but I would never go there anyway.
