Radio for sale!

Post by Cisco » Fri May 30, 2008 10:14 pm

Hey guys,

Just fitted a Janspeed sports exhaust to my Exige S..FFS I was expecting it to be loud but..sh*t ..banging and flames on over run!!

Must admit it sounds good though.. and I couldn't believe how heavy the stock system was (which seems to have broken some baffles as it is rattling like a piggy bank).

Have heard that the Janspeed system breaks up after around 5k miles so will be posting update later on, but the fabrication looks reasonably good to me although no visual evidence of any NDT to get rid of crack initiation on the brackets/hangers. We'll see.

Offers for my radio welcome :damnfunny !

Take care,

Frank

Wonder how heavy the std system must be then... when I took off the janspeed for a tubular it was about half the weight or less....
Well it moves... might as well make the most of it....

Hey Victor,

I meant to weigh both systems but was in a hurry, I will weigh the standard system tomorrow and post..as a guess I would say the std is around 12-15Kg and the Janspeed between 6-9kg. I have a titanium Akro full system on my R1 (bike) which weighs less than an Indian curry so it's all relevant - the Ti bike system cost £2K though... the Janspeed SS cost £300! and I dont have a power commander for the car. :blackeye

Take care,

Frank
