Looking at getting my wheels refurbed due to few curb marks on them prior to my getting the Exige. Called the guy that JJ used and was told £260 does that sound about right?
Cheers

Which one, the guy at re-coat or powdertec? I never paid more than £120 for a refurb - sure VXJON got his for about that too. Its much more for the same-day service, is that what they quoted?
If we can get a deal offer them two sets and i`ll get mine done at the same time as they are needing done.

I had carrick engineering do the wheels I sold DDtB for £130. Used them for years, as does my workplace (they are next door to us) always has first class results with their wheel refurbing, and they do a satin black finish.

http://www.carrickengineering.co.uk/ for contact details.
I took the wheels down with the tyres on, only thing is I don't think they balance them when the tyres are refitted.
The guy who does the actual powdercoating helped run Kames for at least a decade or so, some of the sprinters will know him; Edgar Donaldson.
