hey all - sure this has been discussed at some length previously but just wondering how easy it would be to fit a soft top to my s2 exige for those few months in the summer when no roof is quite appealing as an option? so a few questions
1 - do you just buy a replacement elise softtop and spars and it fits?
2 - if you need to retro fit some fixing points is this ok given you are drilling (i guess) finished fibre glass, how many and where from!?!
3 - are the aero dynamics ok in terms of wind in cabin?

any other pros/con's nyone can think of?

1.Yep, just buy a soft top from a breaker, cost you around 400 pounds
2. If you get the roof bars with the roof all you will need is two small gromets which recess into the rear clam/roll over.
3. Not great, you get a really bad draft down your neck, so bad I now wear a hoody when I go out.
Cheers Craig.

What did you cut into the clam with? And how did you go about getting them in the right place? I've been using the soft top for a bit now but havent had the bottle to fit the gromet bits.

Hi Neil, I just used my dremel its really easy and you cant really do anything wrong, if you look on elise-talk.com there are measurments taken from various points on the car to make sure you get them in the right place, cheers Craig.

Craig fitted mine last night. It took him about 10 minutes. You need a dremel.

Top job thanks very much.

I even got some beer to take home from Allan’s sons own brewery :thumbsup
