Exhaust Fitting

Post by mrbennybennett » Fri Jun 27, 2008 4:55 pm

Got my 2ublar in from Jim this morning 8) so keen to get it fitted ASAP so it will be ready for next weekends fun and frolics

Are they easy to fit and what will i need to do it?? Im pretty useless with a spanner so would it be better just getting Ali to do it, or anyone handy in the Edinburgh area fancy helping me change it?

Advice appreciated

Cheers

Anthony

Hi Anthony, I'd be keen to hear what it sounds like in the SC when you have it fitted.

Cheers, Peter

Did mine a few weeks ago. It was a breeze.

This is a really good write up (pics are helpful and it is pretty explicit).

Standard exhaust was quite a bit bigger than the 2ubular so getting h eold one out will be harder than getting the new one in. I used a pals pit which made it easy. Happy to give you a hand - but I'm away for a bit and I guess you are desperate to get it done asap.
