It's PU glue - various sikaflex products are PU, so you might find that a proper motor factors might have some (used for sticking on trim to cars, windscreen sealant, etc.).

PU is used in these applications because it sets in the presence of water, which makes it ideal.

Pretty sure Lawrence got his TigerSeal from Maccess (sp?) which is a trade outlet.

I don't think the DIY places sell PU adhesive, but Halfrauds might (doubt it, though!).

Decent Motorfactors (Proper ones not halfrauds) sell it. Failing that go see you local autoglass place, it doesn't last so they might either sell you a full tube or give you the end of one if you only need a bit.

thanks anyway m8 , managed to get some at Dunlop motor factors just up from charing cross, first shop I tried after halfrauds!

good stuff it appears.
