has anyone bought a hard top from EP?

after some scroat put a knife through my soft top i'm seriously thinking about getting one but the plain black finish is 1k. what i fancy tho is the carbon fibre version at 1.2k?

has anyone bought on of these, i don't want to part with the cash if it's a piece of rubbish

I would be looking for a 2nd hand one. I prosume there will be a few kicking about taking up room in someones garage that they want rid off basically new for 400-500

can't find any for sale mate, i've been looking for weeks now

Suprizing, I thought a lot would be up for selling them. I would get on forums and put up wanted topics for it. You never know might spark someone to go ahhhhh thats sitting in garage doing nothing, could punt it get a bit of cash! Rather than waiting on one being advertised.

Seen it on a grey Elise before - top quality!! And you almost will never find one second hand.

Problem is that Ninja's is a long tail - Lotus never made a hardtop for the early S2.

Hmmm..... do the short tail conversion as the short soft top looks much better too... You have a tear in your roof now anyway so great time to do it?????

exactly, if i want to use a oe hardtop i need to alter my elise to make the later S2 short tail version work and then i need to buy a new soft top i think

Ah I see. I got my long tail hardtop with the car but mine is an s1. When I was buying heard heard it wasnt worth keeping the hard top so would be better selling it. Just thought it would be the same with the s2 and there would be a few folk on forums punting them. Good luck with the search mate

Junks on SELOC is selling long tail hardtops for the s2 at the moment at £250.

I was just about to post that to... I'm sure they are 'ex-demo' or 'prototypes'... but at that price .... hey..
