:(
OK - so I've had the Elise for 5 weeks now - and some B**tard has gone and clipped my drivers side rear wheel arch - cracking the panel! THeres' about a 6-8" crack just on the arch!

Anybody know a good repairer and a rough idea of cost to get it fixed? - I can't find ice blue duct tape anywhere!

Cheers

you can buy repair kits from most motorbike shops - try M&P in glasgow.

it's easy to repair and should be good for anything other than really close inspeciton.

Some twanger reversed into me last year & I got it fixed @ the Belmont Garage in Wallyford, eat side of Edinburgh. Did a superb job. Didn't cost a lot too, £350 for fixing cracks & repaint on the rear nearside.

Maplins on dalry road stock duck (:-)) tape in the full range of colours IIRC; they also have a smoother tape that is more like electrical insulation tape, but still in 2" width. I have a roll of that in the garage - it's closer to Azure than Ice blue though. Unfortunately the roll is quite old and the tape tends to stretch when it comes off the roll now so not so good for repairs to panels ...

Although you do get some good work out of Wallyford there are too many tales of woe for them to be counted as reliable.

Steve Walker in Bathgate has a good reputation:
