S1 battery

anyone know the S1 battery type number?

is it an O63 type battery? :scratch :?:

Phone Ali, he has my car there at the moment so should be able to check for you assuming mine has the right battery in it..

Think so. £30 at partco with a 3 year warranty for mine.

Yep, definitely an 063.

Batteries are getting expensive these days aren't they! I remember when I used to get Elise batteries for 19 quid! :roll:

Right i need a new battery.

I have one of those elise parts battery holders but not fitted to the car as the current battery doesnt fit it.

What type will definitely fit and who can deliver them?!

I just fitted a new 063 battery to my S1 last week.

Thought I was getting an Exide, but turned out to be a GM one.

Popped into local kwik fit......£64 :shock:

Decided not to bother and drive the car more often. Also unhooked the -ve terminal, do I have to take off both?! hmmm

Got a GM one a few weeks ago for 30 quid at Jim Dixons place in cumbernauld

Ed, Kwik fit are rip off merchant's!!

The car was parked with it's cover blowing off, I was in the Vectra :thumbsup
